衍生車型

除了AAV7A1登陸運輸車型外，此系列還有以下兩款衍生車型。

（一）AAVC7A1登陸指揮車：此型車的乘員艙內配有9個幕僚乘員席，以及10具各型無線電機、圖桌及圖板架等，車外天線林立；但並未設置槍塔，其武裝僅有1挺7.62mm機槍（配彈量1,000發），此為指揮車型與運輸車型在外觀上最大的兩個差異。AAVC7A1通常作為營級以上部隊之活動指揮所，亦可當成無線電中繼載波臺來運用。

（二）AAVR7A1裝甲救濟車：此型車也沒有槍塔，只配備自衛用7.62mm機槍。其車頂設有可360度迴旋的液壓伸縮式吊桿，最大吊重2,700公斤，可吊起AAV7A1車系的發動機進行維修；車尾設有絞盤並透過車首掛鉤進行操作，絞盤鋼纜長85公尺，最大出力13,600公斤，若加上本車行駛的牽引力道，最多可拖動22,000公斤的物件，可拖救所有的AAV7A1車型。此車型的乘員艙可搭乘5人，配備包括工作檯、工具、空氣壓縮機、電池充電器、小型工兵機具、發電機和全套切割燒焊設備等。
