FCS是Flight Control System的縮寫，線傳飛控的縮寫是FBW，而從其他的網頁查詢有關航電升級的部分如下：

改進的一部分是要給予HOTAS的能力，以及其他航電的整合或者是提升，A-10的系統真的是很簡單，連自動飛行能力都沒有，當年調動到沙烏地的時候，飛行員必須全程抓住操縱桿，還有飛行員因為空間迷航的關係，飛行姿態呈現90度，也就是機翼與地面垂直也不知道，還是其他友機看到才不斷的提醒改正。這些改進算是遲來的了。
