這句話
They said that the animals were not being looked after properly.

能否幫我翻譯整句,LOOK是有關照的意思嗎?另外這句是過去被動進行式嗎？

最大的疑問在after properly>>>after + adv 沒看過這樣用法，是什麼意思,是片語？

雖然這種探討文法問題有點鑽牛角尖,不過還是很想懂,不然好奇怪, 感恩呀!

looked after ~ 照顧
