與LAV(L)後勤支援車和LAV(R)保養搶救車類似，

車體較高，頂部有1個艙口，武器有1挺7.62mm的M60機槍。

乘員有車長、駕駛員和2名工程人員。

車上有大量工程用具，像是除雷鏟、剪線鉗、掃雷裝置等。

但起吊裝置只有LAV(R)保養搶救車才有。
